With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Toney of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Minnick and Evvie Minnick (Waters); her granddaughter Halle Jo Mullins; and her sisters, Brenda Smith, Margaret Ashley and Deborah Minnick.
She is survived by: her husband David Toney; her children, Angela Horton (Greg) of Alabama, Brian Toney (Peggy) of Porum, Melissa Leggett (Wade) of Morris and Ricky Toney of Webber Falls; her grandchildren, BJ Hair, Stephanie Robbins, Kelsi Ploesch, Whitni Toney, Casey Palmer, Kaylee Leggett and Cooper Leggett; and her siblings, Betty Minnick of Checotah, Kaye Spears of Checotah and Ricky Minnick of Checotah. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (311 SW 2nd St, Checotah, OK 74426). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
