He is survived by: his wife Hannah Wiley; his children, Misty Shanks (Tylor) of Gore and James Shanks; his stepdaughter Paula Girty (Rodney) of Gore; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Raven, Melissa Girty, Toni, Hayven and Hindler Shanks; and his siblings, Jerry Shanks of Eustace, TX, Gary Shanks (Jackie) of Webbers Falls, Johnny Shanks (Elsie) of Muskogee, Nancy Caves (Joe) of Allen, TX and Jeanie Pierce (John) of Allen, TX. He is also survived by adopted family of many years; along with other family members and friends.
