He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gale Chasteen; and his children, David Chasteen (Sue) of Weatherford, Clifton Chasteen of Redland, CA, Julie Monk (James) of Summerville, SC, Ruth Sullivan (Nathan) of Hereford, TX, Roxy Craft of Cordell, OK and Cheryl Fitzhugh (John) of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
