With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Grant Walkup (Weatherford, Oklahoma), born in Hollis, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Grant and Pamela Kay Walkup (Caswell); his brother John Lee Walkup; and his grandparents, Dewey, Orene Caswell, Ray and Mary Helen Walkup.

He is survived by: his wife Lauren Walkup; his children, Ashley Walkup, Michelle Compton (Blake Compton) and Morgan Walkup (Chelsea Walkup); his grandchildren, Addie, Levi, Judah Compton, June and Heidi Walkup; and his sister Chris Kennedy (Jill Kennedy).
