She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Vernon Buie; her sister Kathryn Grace Moss; and her sons, Vernon Curtis and Glendale Earl Phares Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Zelma Lou Ring of Elk City, Oklahoma; her daughter April Lou Phares of Weatherford, Oklahoma; her siblings, Terry Lynn Buie of Batesville, Virgil Lee Buie of Elk City, Oklahoma and Deborah Ranee Reyes (Dee) of Elk City, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Stacy Lou Phares and Sunnie May Lingle.
