She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Friesen and Vera Mae Friesen (McGoffin); her husband James Bernard "Jim" Heger; her son Kevin Heger; her daughter-in-law Barbara Heger; and her brother E. L. Friesen.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Heger (Vicky), Randy Heger (Kristy) and Jamey Heger of Hydro. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
