He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Slagell (Miller) and Elmer Slagell; and his sister Janet Kauffman. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Joseph Slagell (Liz) and Renita Michael (Roger); his siblings, Warren Slagell (Lola), Connie Holmberg (Skip) and Michael Slagell (Faith); his brother-in-law Richard Kauffman; his grandchildren, Cameron Slagell, Luke Slagell and Savannah Harman; his family Tom Grabeal (Shelby); his children, Tristan, Trinity and Tamara Grabeal (Brand Hartsell); and his grandchildren, Braden and Lauren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Several years ago, Ken made the commitment to donate his body to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center to be used for medical research.
