He was predeceased by: his parents, John Butterbaugh and Hazel Butterbaugh (Smith); and his son Chad Crosby. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Crosby; his son Chris Crosby (Stephanie) of Weatherford; and his siblings, Mike Butterbaugh of Corn, Craig Butterbaugh of Weatherford, Tim Butterbaugh of Corn, Jane Hogan of Yukon and Cheryl Veal of Clinton. He is also survived by three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
