John Lee Walkup Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lee Walkup of Weatherford, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 25, 2022 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pamela Kay Walkup and Richard Grant Walkup; his grandparents, Dewey, Orene Caswell, Ray and Mary Helen Walkup; and his stepdaughter Elizabeth Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Teri Ellis; his brother Michael Grant Walkup (Lauren); his nieces and nephews, Ashley Walkup of Weatherford, Blake and Michelle Compton (Walkup) of Lakeside, CA; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adeline, Levi and Judah; his nieces and nephews, Morgan and Chelsea Walkup of Edmond; his great-niece June; his grandchildren, Ameisha, Avery and Adan; his sister Chris McCullar Kennedy; his aunt Connie Scott; and his uncle V. J. Cooley (Cindy). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephew.
