It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Helt (Weatherford, Oklahoma), born in Antlers, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Sarah Helt (Langley); his wife Edith Fowler; his siblings, John, Frank, Floyd, Lee, Rose, Flora, Lora and Mary; and his son J. E. Helt.
He is survived by: his children, Tommie Helt (Janice) of Hydro, Floyd Helt (Elaine) of Eakly, Glenn Helt (Patty) of Weatherford, Richard Helt (Leigha) of Weatherford and Flora Boland (Jerry) of Weatherford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
