He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Claude and Virginia Loraine Scott (Cosper); and his brothers, Darrel Lynn and Larry Joe "Shorty". He is survived by: his wife Janice Scott; his children, Jimmy Tod Scott (Elizabeth) of Hoxie, Devin Charles Scott (Tomara Wright) of Oklahoma City and Torri Lyn Mays (Curtis Ray) of Oklahoma City; and his sister Kay Woods (Keith) of Weatherford. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in his name.
