With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Britt Stinson (Weatherford, Oklahoma), born in Waterville, Washington, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Stinson and Ruth Stinson (Britt); his wife Dee; and his siblings, Glen Stinson, Lola Van Dyke and Helen Jordan.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Stinson (Glenda) and Scott Stinson (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Tyler Stinson, Meagan Merkey (Paul), Jay Stinson (Jordan) and Riley Stinson (Bradley Pettijohn). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the R. L. Lockstone Funeral Home (210 Custer St, Weatherford, OK 73096). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (719 N Kansas St, Weatherford, OK 73096). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church or to the Oklahoma Blood Institute.
