He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Barbara Sue Nelson (Jones). He is survived by: his children, Travis Nelson (Shelbi Mann) of Chickasha and Ashley Dickens (Joshua) of Weatherford; his sister Shelley Hoerber (Steve) of Moreno Valley, California; and his grandson Jeremiah.
