He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Barnes and Lilly Alma Barnes (Wilson); his sisters, Violet Seiger and Viva Bowers; his grandson Zach Craig; and his great grandchild Cooper Craig-Mellmer.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Farquer; his grandchildren, Cody Spencer (Errin) of Norman, Kristin Baird (Trevor) of Waynoka, Matthew Barnes of Jay, Sarah Burris of Fairview, Kasey Litzenberger (Ben) of Waynoka, Amy Kimberly (Charles) of Alva and Ethan Barnes of Stillwater; and his sisters, Darlene Shelite of Waynoka, Lavina Randall of Wichita, Kansas, Gail Spencer and Sharon. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Alzheimer's research or the Cooper Craig-Mellmer Memorial Fund.
