John Gordon Hibbs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Gordon Hibbs of Waynoka, Oklahoma, born in Paden, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Clayton and Elsie Mae Hibbs (Parsons); his wife Frances Marie Butler; his siblings, Albert, Glen, Lloyd, Allen, George, Carrol Hibbs and Joyce; and his daughter Sandra Scott Lee.
He is survived by: his children, John Gordon, Sharon Kaye Buerger (Mike) of Mustang, Cheryl Ann Lambert of Moore and Karon Marie Isbell of Moore; his sister Betty Foster of Guthrie; his grandchildren, Rick Newcomb (Jada) of New Castle, Michael Buerger of Oklahoma City, Beth Dean (Nick) of Choctaw, Harley William Isbell of Oklahoma City and Shannon Finley (Blaine) of Edmond; his great grandchildren, Alyssa Newcomb, Sirus Isbell, Payton Finley, Colton Finley, Landon Dean, Scotlynn Dean and Deklon Dean; his grandchildren, Ty Jones, Debbie Doss Pickett and Melinda Ditzen; and his close friend Lois Graff. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Liberty Cemetery or the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
