Services for Wilma Sue Johnson, 65, of Wayne are 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Criswell Funeral Home, Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Steedman Cemetery. A wake service will be held beginning at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Johnson passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at her home. She was born April 23, 1957 in Oklahoma City, OK to McDonald and Naomi Scott Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Mitch Watan, of the home; one son, James Johnson; four brothers, Jarvis Johnson, Sr., Marvin Johnson, Samuel Johnson and Richard Johnson; and one sister, Delvagene Laguna.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Melvin Johnson; son, Myron Johnson; and three brothers, Melvin Ray Johnson, Ulysses Johnson and Donald Johnson.
