He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Capps and Fannie Bell Capps (Standridge); his wife Kathy Capps; his daughter Lisa Flowers; and his siblings, Melton Capps and Wilma Pierce.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Baker; his grandson Mark; his son Mark Capps (Tuesday) of Wayne; his sisters, Lorine Adair of Purcell and Dorine Elliott of Purcell; his grandchildren, Bridget Hames (Rondell) and Dalton Flowers; and his close friend Aleta Cox.
