Gary Lynn Ross Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Lynn Ross of Wayne, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Lee Ross and Margaret Ross (Bible); his in-laws, Esque and Georgia Smith; his siblings, Ira Ross Jr. (Elfreida), Bobbie Jean Stockard (Jim), Jimmy Ross (Betty), Anna Lou Young (Hurley) and Don Ross (Kathy); his brothers-in-law, Charles Smith and Tommy Smith; and his nephew Kent Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Ross; his daughter Becky Mainord (Chad) of Purcell; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Mainord of Purcell and Ashton Vance (Kaleb) of Noble; and his sister-in-law Minnie Smith of Tulsa.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Little Chapel (127 S Canadian Ave, Purcell, OK 73080). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Purcell First Baptist Church (400 W Main St, Purcell, OK 73080). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Hillside Cemetery.
