It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Brakefield of Wayne, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Adam Buchanan; his parent Myrtle Brakefield (Beatrice); and his brothers, Carrell Brakefield and Curtis Brakefield. He is survived by: his granddaughter Pamela; his wife Ramona; his children, Pat Brakefield (Teresa) of Wayne and Pam Buchanan (Mike) of Dibble; his sisters, Helen Harrington of Wayne, Mary Lou Ashley of Maysville and Shirley O'Hagan of Sacramento, CA; his grandchildren, Benjamin Brakefield of Wayne, Audrey Lovelace (Gus) of Dibble and Kayla Madden (Nicholas) of Wayne; and his great grandchildren, Stormi, Bentley, Atley, Kinsley and AJ.
