It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Luisa Gomez Rangel of Waurika, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Filiberto; her children, Jaime Gomez (Regina), Alfredo Gomez, Filiberto Gomez, Lourdes Garcia (Antonio), Blanca Elvia Gomez, Antonio Reyes and Ana Lilia Gomez (Fausto Garcia); her siblings, Amador Rangel, Andrea Solis and Emeterio Rangel; her grandchildren, Desiray Castro, Maria Guadalupe Gomez Elkins, Robert Gomez, Ana Luisa Gomez, Mayra Rodriguez, Nicholas Gomez, Noah Gomez Antonio Gomez, Odalys Rodriguez, Jocelyn Rodriguez, Edwin Garcia, Ricardo Galvan, Kevin Garcia, Angel Garcia, Quinton Gomez, Lluvia Reyes, Mia Garcia, Jaden Gomez, Antonio Reyes, Juan Garcia, Jonathon Gomez, Ashley Gomez, Natalie Gomez, Sebastian Gomez, Alisson Gomez and Myla Gomez; and her great grandchildren, Fernando, Abril, Santiago, Camila, Alejandro, Max, Hooper, Sofia, Angel, Kenia, Mayra, Easton, Nevaeh, Elaina, Maverick, Ian, Anabella and Sara Michelle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel (414 N Elm St, Waurika, OK 73573). A rosary was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home (414 N Elm St, Waurika, OK 73573). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Church (711 W Hickory Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
