It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Fitzgerald Benson Sr. (Waurika, Oklahoma), born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benson and Mary White Benson; his wife Janet; and his siblings, Charles Benson, Margaret Scott and Kathleen Marquis.
He is survived by: his children, Talisha Johnson of Wichita Falls, John Benson Jr. (Cristie) of Waurika and Kevin Benson (Brianna) of Wichita Falls, Texas.; his grandchildren, Nicolas, Christian-Michelle, Nolan Baugh, Alexis, Zackary Shockley, Zoey, McKenna Benson and Riley Bishop; and his siblings, William Benson (Rhonda) of Texas, Barbara Perry of Minnesota, Theresa Roberts (Dewey) of Poolville, Andrew Benson of Wichita Falls and Robert Benson (Carla) of Springtown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
