He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Richardson and Betty Stanley Richardson; and his wife Sharon. He is survived by: his son Derek Richardson; his sisters, Becky Gerken (Gary) of Waurika, Ann Hodges (Everett) of Waurika and Sandra Watkins (Donnie) of Waurika; his sister-in-law Sheila Gutierrez (Pete) of Okay; and his close friend Nell Largent. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
