It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Oleta Houchins (Waurika, Oklahoma), born in Montague, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Johnston (Echols) and Pat Johnston; her son Kelly Houchins; her sister Gena Vanscoy; her grandchildren, Chad Houchins and Misty Troxell; and her daughter-in-law Linda Houchins.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Houchins (Sandy), Darrell Houchins (Cindy), Jim Houchins (Debbie), Shawn Houchins (Pam), Nancy Sanders, Luanne Gage (John) and Tina Stewart (Tim); and her daughter-in-law Patti Houchins. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
