As we bid Elva Elizabeth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elva Elizabeth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. J. Kemp; her significant other Charley Cast; and her mother Hanie Mary Elizabeth Chatman. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Atwood (Mary), Renee Davis, Buster Wedel and Amanda Phillips (Jason); and her siblings, Curtis Privitt (Twyla), Betty Alexander, Sarah Helloms and LeeAnn Carter. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
