He was predeceased by: his son Jack Hobson. He is survived by: his children, Justin Hobson, John Hobson Jr, Jeanne Sweet, Heather Riley, J. W. Hobson, Janet Bruno, Jeff Sweet and Amy Ward. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
