He is survived by: his children, Anna Balmain of Watts, Floyd Sands Jr. of Chewey, Sharon Sands of Lincoln and Steven Sands of Kansas, Oklahoma; his siblings, David "Hed" Sands, Woodrow "Red" Sands, Tommy Sands and Charlene "Gaya" Pickup; his grandchildren, Ethan Sands, Tal Sands, Nancee'Chuculate and Amanda Morris; and his great grandchildren, Nv-Ya Jackson and Fletcher Morris.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Edify Church (463570 E 648 Rd, Watts, OK 74964).
