He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Gracie Ethel Mayabb Blake; his grandson Johnpatrick Blake; and his siblings, Lew Blake, Charles Blake and Ruby Powell.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Blake of Watson, Oklahoma; his children, Patrick Blake (Martha) of Watson, Derrick Blake (Charlotte) of Watson, Oklahoma and Paula Bohanan (Eddie) of Muse, Oklahoma; his nieces and nephews, Tammy and Tristen Johnson of Smithville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Charity Balzanna (Sean), Faith Kirt (Justin) of Muse, Joshua Blake (Stephanie) of Cameron, Blane Blake (Aby) of Watson and Jediah Blake; his great-grandparent Patrick; his grandmother Martha Blake of Watson, Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Eli, Jordan Balzanna, Adalyn, Allisyn Kirt, Truett and Missy Ann Blake. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home (2608 US-71, Mena, AR 71953). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Octavia Baptist Church. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:45 PM at the Watson Cemetery.
