With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Thomas Cox formerly of Watonga, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, H. H. Cox and Gracie Braucht Cox; and his siblings, Agnes, Lula, Lorene, Grace, Kenneth, Keith and Sam.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Matli; his children, Dr. Karen Cox Haymaker (John) of Hennessey, OK, Dr. Tom Cox (Theresa) of Weatherford, OK and Judee Dysart (Ron) of Tulsa, OK; and his pets, Ofie and Ehrinn. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
