He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Daugherty and Berndeam Daugherty; his wife Marilyn; his grandson Derek Daugherty Sharp; and his siblings, Gerald Daugherty, Robert Huff and Joy Whitehead Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Ty Daugherty, Greg Ryan, Pam Daugherty-Sharp (Keith) and Cindy Humphrey (Todd). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
