He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph LittleThunder and Ethelyn Behan; and his siblings, Frank "Butch" Medicine Bird, Jr., Gerald Medicine Bird, Joe Medicine Bird, Frankie Medicine Bird Hail and Willene Medicine Bird.
He is survived by: his close friend Kim Black Johnson; and his siblings, Murray Medicine Bird, Myra Medicine Bird, Fran Wilson (Dennis) and Edwina Whiteman (Chester). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many grandkids.
