He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Jonas and Norma Simmons Nelson; and his granddaughter Kattie Miller. He is survived by: his wife Judy Dillard; his stepdaughter Tricia Renee Nelson; his daughter Tricia Ledbetter; and his siblings, Sarah Standeford, Jim, Ronny and Larry Nelson. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
