He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Alexander and Uva Lorraine Malaney; and his siblings, Freddy Malaney, Carolyn McCain and Betty Reeves.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Paul Reeves Jr., Mickey Reeves, Patrick Reeves, Cindy Reeves, Betsy Taylor and Lavonnie Baker; and his sister-in-law Ladonna Malaney. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.
