It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Christian Oppel (Watonga, Oklahoma), born in Omega, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Oppel and Marie Oppel (Kunneman); his wife Mildred Kunkel (Leona); his former wife Leona Constien; and his brother Robert Oppel.
He is survived by: his children, Gaylen Oppel (Sherry) of Watonga, OK and Sharla Oppel of Watonga, OK; his brother Fred Oppel Jr. (Mildred) of Kingfisher, OK; and his grandchildren, Christopher Oppel (Rosanna), Lindsay Marks (Dustin), Lauren Oppel (Jeff Glenn), Mikayla Oppel, Justin Cole (Brittany), Kelsey Plank and Jordan Plank (Yusuke Harase). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 7 nephews and 5 nieces as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
