He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Boyd and Genevieve Boyd; his wife Evelyn; his daughter Debra Kay Boyd; and his brothers, LeRoy Boyd and Billy Boyd.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Evelyn Huffman; his children, Earl D. Boyd, Jr. (Sandie) of Dumas, TX and Dora Kaye Boyd of Oklahoma City, OK; his grandchildren, Sean King and Debra Michelle Franks; and his nieces and nephews, Louise Dunn (Donnie) of Watonga, OK, Lisa Kimberling Brown, Curtis Dean of Watonga, OK, Brad Boyd, Marty Boyd and Mark Kimberly. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
