He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Alexander Roper and Mae Ellen Roper (Stringer); his wife Leota Mae Hole; his children, Larry (Christy), Mary and John; his grandchildren, Amber Branscum (Marshall), Derek Roper (Ashlee), Ian Roper and Lauren Flynn; his great grandchildren, Paislee Branscum, Colton Branscum, Noah Branscum, Greyson Roper, Ashlyn Roper and Bill; and his siblings, Everett (Lydia), Lou Ann Peterman (Wesley), Elsie Peterman (Pete), Dianna Anderson (Jerry) and Mary Sue Dale (Billy). He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family kindly encourages friends to wear masks to the service if they so choose, but they are not required.
Memorials may be made to the Watonga Senior Citizens or the Watonga Christian Church.
