He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, L. B. Collins and Patty Collins; his former wife Debbie Collins; his siblings, Jamathew Collins and Betty Joyce Shore; his son Brian (Carissa); his grandchildren, Cooper and Mia; his daughter Kelly Dexter (Michael); his grandchildren, Alec and Taylor; and his brother Michael J. Collins of Bethany. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
