He was predeceased by: his parents, James McKinney and Birtie Evelyn Roberts Jefferson; and his brothers, James McKinney (Sonny), Robert McKinney and Edward McKinney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela McKinney of Kingman and Paula Barton of Yuma, Arizona; and his siblings, Gerald McKinney of Burleson, Texas, Jane Mauldin of Crowley, Margie Campbell of Broken Bow and Rhoda Hardage of Hugo.
