It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Wells of Washington, Oklahoma, born in Purcell, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ownell Wells and Lawanda June Wells (McCool); his wife Debbie Gayle Wells (Miles); and his father-in-law Charles Miles. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Walters (Erin) of Atlanta, Georgia and Ashley Prieto (Glen) of San Antonio, Texas; his sister Peggy Knippelmier (Larry) of Blanchard, Oklahoma; his grandson Miles Walters; his nieces, Keri Kelsey (Curt) and Julie Kiker (late Stephen); his caregiver Gina Pauls; and his mother-in-law Faye Miles of Meridian, Mississippi. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
