As we bid adieu to Susan Marie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Susan Marie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Gary Bruce Grandle. She is survived by: her children, Jerri Byrd Groschick (Todd) and Robert William Byrd (JaLyn); her grandson Robert Watson Byrd; her mother Evelyn of Stephen's Ghazi; and her sister Betty Nailey.
A dedicated nurse practitioner, Susan earned her PhD from the University of Michigan and her APRN from West Texas A&M. Over the years, she made significant contributions to healthcare by establishing a private practice clinic and playing a vital role in the opening of two hospices and several other healthcare businesses in Oklahoma City.
