She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schaefer and Leona Schaefer; her husband John Suchak; and her siblings, Francis, Bill, Gene, Robert, Karl and Beatrice.
She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Easlon, Elizabeth Skala, Janet Cosgrove and Mike Schaefer. She is also survived by her 30 nieces and nephews.
