He is survived by: his son Mike Haynes, Sr.; his grandsons, Brian Haynes and Michael Haynes, Jr.; his stepdaughter Joan (Ronald Lawrence); his sister Lucille Cogburne; his sister-in-law Bobbie Haynes; his nephews, Larry and Bill Nation; and his close friend Julie.
