She was predeceased by: her parents, Ras Reel and Laura Reel (Varnell). She is survived by: her grandchildren, David Thornton (Amanda) of De Soto, KS, Travis Thornton (Tiffany) of Porum, Oaklei, Abigail and McKinley Thornton.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Coleman Cemetery (211 E 293rd St S, Porum, OK 74455).
