She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Capps and Seletha Capps (Sells); and her son Roy Ashby, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, James Green (Stacey), Timothy Ashby (Lila), Matthew Ashby (Laura), Robyn Settles (Troy) and Stephanie Capps (Mercedes Ashby); her daughter-in-law Michelle Ashby; and her brothers, Charles Capps, Chester Capps, Jerry Capps and Larry Capps. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
