It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae West (Wapanucka, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 20, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Susie Tassey (Eaves); her husband Calvin Dee West; her daughter Debbie Lynn Gould; her father James Tassey; and her siblings, Rosey Matthew, Ethyl Matthew, Robert Tassey, Wayne Newman and Sammy Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Sue Coss and Allen D. West; and her siblings, Mary Elkins, Loretha Haigood, Betty Henry, Lee Newman and Odus Newman. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
