He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Jefferson and Mildred Shamblin (Lamar); his wife Julia Maye Chrisman; his siblings, Gerald Dean Shamblin and Zora Francis Clark Reese; and his son-in-law Russell Morris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce (Leslie) and Debbie Morris of Wann; his grandchildren, Christopher Ramey of Wann, Michael Reed of Wann, Julie Ramey of Copan, Timmy Reed of Wichita, Donald Reed of Wichita and Rebecca Shepherd (Tommy) of Wann; his great grandchildren, Katie Ramey, Nathan Ramey (Abby Caruthers), Dakota Ramey and Gracie Shepherd; his brother Jack Shamblin; and his caregiver Mandi Tipton.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wann Community Center. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Robbins Cemetery.
