He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Edward Searles and Nellie Mae Guthrie; and his siblings, Joshua "Buck" Swain, Larry Larae Searles, Lilly Allen, Pauline Iona Searles, Hazel Cox and Edith Desilver.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Joanne (Purkey); his children, Jim Searles of El Dorado, Steve Searles of Rocky, Larry Searles (Brenda) of Chouteau, Cathy Stacy (Kevin) of Delaware and Candy Edwards (Craig) of Ralls, Texas; his grandchildren, Jimmy Harden (J. C.), Justin Searles, Tyler Searles, Lakin Taylor (Ivan), Lexie Beyer (Jonathon), Brody Searles, Cassey Tignanelli (Joey), Blane Stacy (Judy), Casey Jo Martinez, Collin Campbell and Conner Campbell; and his great grandchildren, Harper Harden, Aadison, Nattalyn Searles, Edward, Eli Taylor, John Beyer, Gracey, Jett Tignanelli, Luke Stacy, Charlotte and Madilyn Martinez.
In lieu of flowers, Joanne suggests making donations in Clyde's name to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
