He was predeceased by: his parents, John Helge Johnson and Selma Prittinen Johnson; his wife Carol; and his siblings, Eric, Oscar, Harry, Mildred, Gloria and Sally.
He is survived by: his children, John C. Johnson, Jr. (Saundra) of Norman, Oklahoma and Laura Johnson of Lawton, Oklahoma; and his grandsons, Michael Johnson and Juli Diaz.
