He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Viola Wampler (Smith) and Jessie Wampler; and his son-in-law Wade Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Annie Laura Smith; his children, Steve (Sherry Wampler), Sandy Anderson and Beverly (Richard Anderson); his sister Quetha (Clarence Cobb); his sisters-in-law, Ellen Brown, Bonnie McGinnis, Connie Smith and Linda Smith; his grandchildren, Cory Anderson (Cara), Cody Wampler (Tammie), Traci Dryden (Kris), Cassie Berry (Nolan), Lauren Wayman (Randall) and Trey Anderson (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Cale, Camron, Melana, Cassidy, Josh, Stevi, Nevaeh, Ashlynn, Gage, Asa, Cana, Charis, Jamin, Jack, Gideon, Beau, Mason, Jolee, Easton and Max; and his grandchildren, Owen, Tilly, Saige, Noah and Caleb. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home - Walters (202 E Colorado Ave, Walters, OK 73572). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2006 W Missouri, Walters, OK 73572).
