He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Louella (Stoker) and James Elbert "Jack" Scarberry; and his sisters, Billie, Joyce and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Kathleen Helton of Walters, Stephen Embree (Shelly), Shannon Smith (Richard) and Cynthia Walters (Charles Ellis); his sister Doris Pickle of Ohio; his grandchildren, Weston Hoodenpyle, Lacie of Walters, Ryder Smith of Velma, OK, Kadyn Smith of Edmond, OK and Kellan Guerra of Walters; and his great grandchildren, Jayci Fenhaus, Memphis Smith, Stratton Smith, Steehli Smith and Indy Smith.
