He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hess and Viola Hess; his wife Mardis Ann; and his siblings, Joyce Barnard and Raymond Hess (Joan).
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Jeanne Fraiser, Lori Hess, Sheila Rader, Carthel Hess, Randall Hess, Mark Barnard and Vincent Barnard; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Barnard and Martha Draper; and his close friend Gary Smith. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (202 Maple St, Wakita, OK 73771). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
